This is Lady Emily Ashton's best adventure yet. Things get rather dangerous for our fair heroine and it takes a while to figure out "whodunit," which is always a plus. Best of all there is a wonderful subplot when Emily discovers a rival for her fiance's affections. A very satisfying read, well written, charming and suspenseful with excellent depth of character development. I read it in one sitting and went back to re-read parts of the book which I rarely do with this genre. I am looking forward to the next installment of this delightful series of books.
