I was a little skeptical of the book after reading the description. Somehow reading of the adventures of a 12th century pathologist who looks into the murder of children didn't seem terribly engaging, especially as something to read on a very brief vacation. Wrong! It was great...I couldn't put it down and even when the plane on the trip home hit some bumpy spots (and I get motion sickness) I opted to keep reading! End of the book was unbelievable and I found that nothing was going to tear me away from the story. This is one of the best books I've read and I rank it Larsson's "Girl" trilogy!
