I bought this book on a whim (how bad could a vampire story be right?) and was not in the least bit disappointed with the decision. The characters are pretty well drawn out and the plot line was quick and to the point. I liked the fact that it was an easy entertaining story that I could finish in one sitting, it's about 149 or 150 pages. It's also not one of the many carbon copies of the Twilight series or Rice's Vampire Chronicals, so don't worry. I will be looking for the books that follow in the series with the full intention of giving them a try also.
